Our teachers stay with the same group of students throughout the entire course, ensuring continuity and personalized support. Course lengths vary depending on the time of year, with most courses totalling 18 sessions, scheduled either weekly or daily

What do we teach?

Our standard curriculum draws from renowned National Geographic textbooks series, including ‘Wonderful World‘ and ‘Reading Expeditions for Teens‘. In addition to these foundational courses, we offer a range of supplementary options designed to further enrich our students’ learning experience. These include discussion-based courses related to popular novels, specialized instruction in academic writing skills, and courses aimed at enhancing speaking proficiency. By offering such a broad spectrum of courses, we ensure that each student can find a program that suits their individual learning style and goals.
Teaching Methods
How do we teach?
Our sessions are designed to be lively, interactive, and fun. We use a Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach which emphasizes meaningful communication. We begin interactions with our students by asking them well-graded and well-designed questions which will encourage enthusiastic topic-based discussion. Our teaching method is very systematic and has been developed and refined based on thousands of hours of session observations. Every course has detailed instructions for optimal presentation of material, and our online self-study training courses have prepared hundreds of teachers to meet our students.
Students
Who do we teach?
Our student base is steadily expanding, comprising vibrant learners aged 6-16. Despite Mandarin being their primary language, our classes are conducted exclusively in English. This approach immerses students in the language and cultivates a comfortable environment for them to develop their English proficiency naturally. As such, our teachers do not require any knowledge of Mandarin to effectively engage with our students.

What do we use to teach?
Our teachers are equipped with the necessary tools to deliver top-notch online instruction.
